Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Magnet Decals. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, package, and ship your custom order. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.


1. Order Processing & Production Time

All Magnet Decals products are custom-made to order. Orders are not shipped immediately; each product is fabricated, printed, and die-cut to your specifications after the cancellation window closes.

  • Cancellation window: 24 hours after order placement (see our Refund & Return Policy).
  • Production time: [3–5] business days after the cancellation window closes.
  • Total time before shipment: typically [4–6] business days from order date.

Production time is separate from shipping time. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.


2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship via the following carriers, depending on order size, destination, and selected service:

  • USPS (First-Class, Priority Mail)
  • UPS (Ground, 2-Day, Next Day Air)
  • FedEx (Ground, Express)

The carrier and service available at checkout are determined by your shipping address and order weight. We reserve the right to substitute carriers of equivalent service if necessary.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination
  • Order weight and dimensions
  • Selected shipping service (Standard, Expedited, etc.)

Shipping promotions, free shipping thresholds, or flat rates (when offered) are displayed clearly at checkout and on applicable promotional pages.

Shipping fees are non-refundable except in cases of order loss or manufacturing defect (see Refund & Return Policy).


4. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated transit times after your order ships:

Service Estimated Transit
USPS First-Class 3–5 business days
USPS Priority Mail 2–3 business days
UPS / FedEx Ground 3–7 business days
UPS / FedEx Expedited 1–3 business days

These are estimates provided by the carrier, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, peak shipping seasons, or other circumstances beyond our control.


5. Shipping Zones

We currently ship to:

  • All 50 U.S. states
  • U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam): available, with extended transit times.
  • APO / FPO / DPO military addresses: available via USPS only.
  • PO Boxes: USPS only.
  • International orders: [currently not available / available upon request — choose one].

If your country is not available at checkout, we are not currently shipping there.


6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with:

  • A tracking number
  • A link to track your shipment with the carrier

If you have not received a tracking email within [7] business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder before contacting us at Info@magnetdecals.com.


7. Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

  • Addresses cannot be changed once the order has entered production (after the 24-hour cancellation window).
  • Magnet Decals is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
  • Orders shipped to an incorrect address that are returned to us may be re-shipped at the customer's expense. If the package is lost due to an incorrect address, no refund will be issued.

If you discover an address error within the 24-hour cancellation window, contact us immediately at Info@magnetdecals.com.


8. Risk of Loss & Carrier Responsibility

Risk of loss and title for all products pass to the customer upon delivery of the order to the carrier.

Once a package is in the carrier's possession, the carrier — not Magnet Decals — is responsible for safe and timely delivery. However, we will assist you in filing carrier claims for lost or damaged shipments as outlined below.


9. Lost or Damaged Packages

9.1 Damaged in Transit

If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at Info@magnetdecals.com with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photographs of the damaged packaging and product
  • Description of the damage

Refunds or replacements for damaged shipments are handled under our Refund & Return Policy.

9.2 Lost in Transit

If carrier tracking shows your order has not moved for an extended period or is marked as lost:

  • Contact us if no delivery has occurred within 30 days of the ship date.
  • We will open a claim with the carrier and, once confirmed lost, issue a refund or send a free replacement.

9.3 Marked Delivered but Not Received

If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you did not receive the package:

  1. Check with neighbors, household members, and your front desk or mailroom.
  2. Wait 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered before actual drop-off.
  3. Contact the carrier directly to open a delivery investigation.
  4. If unresolved, contact us at Info@magnetdecals.com and we will assist.

Magnet Decals is not liable for packages confirmed delivered by the carrier to the address on file. Refunds for "porch piracy" or theft after delivery are at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed.


10. Failed Deliveries & Returned Packages

If a package is returned to Magnet Decals because:

  • The address was incorrect or incomplete
  • The recipient refused delivery
  • The recipient failed to pick up the package from the carrier
  • The recipient was unreachable

…the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping. If the customer does not respond within 14 days of being notified, the order will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued, as the product is custom-made.


11. International Orders

If you are placing an international order:

  • Customs, duties, and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the order or shipping total.
  • Delivery times for international orders may be significantly longer due to customs processing.
  • Magnet Decals is not responsible for packages held, delayed, or destroyed by customs authorities.
  • Refusal to accept a package or pay customs fees does not entitle you to a refund, as our products are custom-made.

12. Holidays & Peak Seasons

During U.S. federal holidays and peak shipping seasons (November–January), production and shipping times may be extended. We will communicate any significant delays via email and on the Site.

Magnet Decals observes the following holidays (no production or shipping):

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day & Day After
  • Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

13. Order Modifications

Once an order is placed:

  • Within 24 hours: You may modify or cancel your order by contacting Info@magnetdecals.com.
  • After 24 hours: Orders have entered production and cannot be modified, cancelled, or have their shipping address changed.

This Shipping Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Magnet Decals reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes apply only to orders placed after the effective date of the update.
