Refund policy

At Magnet Decals, every product is custom-made to order based on the artwork, dimensions, colors, and specifications you provide. Because each magnet is produced specifically for you, we maintain a strict no-refund and no-return policy, with the limited exceptions outlined below.

By placing an order with Magnet Decals, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.


1. All Sales Are Final

All Magnet Decals products are custom-fabricated, printed, and die-cut to the customer's specifications. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind after order placement
  • Incorrect artwork, spelling, colors, sizes, or specifications submitted by the customer
  • Color variation between screen display and printed product (see Section 5)
  • Failure to read product specifications or care instructions prior to ordering
  • Buyer's remorse

Magnet Decals does not provide digital proofs or print previews prior to production. Orders are produced based on the artwork and specifications submitted by the customer at checkout. It is the customer's sole responsibility to review and verify all artwork, spelling, dimensions, colors, and specifications before completing their order.


2. Order Cancellation Window

You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, your order enters production and cancellation is no longer possible. Once this window has passed, the order is final and non-refundable except under the limited circumstances described in Section 3.

3. Eligible Refunds and Replacements

We will issue a refund or free replacement (at our discretion) only in the following limited circumstances:

3.1 Missing Items

Your order arrived with one or more items missing compared to the packing slip or order confirmation.

3.2 Damaged or Broken Items

Your product arrived physically damaged or broken (torn, cracked, severely creased, or otherwise unusable) due to a manufacturing defect or shipping damage.

3.3 Manufacturing Defects

The product was produced incorrectly compared to the artwork and specifications you submitted — wrong colors printed, wrong size produced, or incorrect die-cut shape, where the error is attributable to Magnet Decals and not to the customer's submitted files.

3.4 Lost in Transit

Your order was confirmed shipped but not delivered within 14 days of the ship date, and carrier tracking confirms non-delivery.


4. How to File a Claim

To be eligible for a refund or replacement under Section 3, you must:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at Info@magnetdecals.com (or within 30 days of ship date for lost-in-transit claims).
  2. Include your order number in the subject line.
  3. Provide clear photographs of:
    • The damaged, defective, or missing product
    • The original packaging it arrived in
    • The shipping label
  4. Briefly describe the issue.

Claims submitted after the 7-day window will not be eligible.

We will review your claim and respond within 3 business days. If approved, we will either:

  • Ship a free replacement at no cost to you, or
  • Issue a refund to your original payment method.

You may be asked to return the defective item; if so, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Do not discard damaged items until your claim is resolved.


5. Color, Size, and Performance Disclaimers

  • Colors. Monitor and mobile screens display color differently than physical print. Slight color variation between your screen and the final product is normal and is not grounds for a refund.
  • Sizes. All listed dimensions are nominal. Small variations of up to ±1/8 inch are standard in die-cutting and are not considered defects.
  • Magnet performance. Magnet Decals are designed for use on clean, smooth, flat ferrous metal surfaces (most vehicle body panels). They are not guaranteed to adhere to aluminum, fiberglass, plastic, carbon fiber, or textured surfaces. Damage or performance issues caused by improper application, highway speeds without proper installation, or use on non-recommended surfaces are not grounds for a refund.

6. Non-Refundable Charges

The following are non-refundable except in cases of manufacturing defect or order loss:

  • Shipping and handling fees
  • Rush production fees (once production has begun)
  • Custom design service fees (once design work has commenced)

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks filed without first attempting resolution through our customer service may result in a permanent ban from future orders.

This Refund & Return Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Magnet Decals reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes apply only to orders placed after the effective date of the update.
